At KJ’s Ice Fishing, the houses are top-notch, but if we’re honest, most folks come back for KJ himself. Born and raised right here on Mille Lacs, KJ is as much a part of the lake as the walleye. He’s been in the industry for more than 25 years (and fishing the lake himself for 50), and along the way he’s collected enough stories, jokes, and “you shoulda seen it” fishing tales to keep any shack lively. With that classic Minnesota accent and a sense of humor as sharp as his auger, KJ makes every trip more than just fishing, it’s an experience you’ll be talking about long after the ice melts.
